Chocolat App UX Design Project

Chocolat App Screens.png

I designed an app that addressed the problem of being unable to conveniently order luxury chocolates from a single platform. I also defined the app’s functions as the following: users can browse for chocolates by type and price, share their ratings and reviews, access personalised recommendations, and track chocolates they wish to purchase using a wishlist. Then, I defined four potential roles for user target group and client/designer goals before beginning the app design. I used Figma to create low-fidelity wireframes of the app. Finally, I used Adobe XD to design thirty screens and create a functional high-fidelity prototype of the Chocolat app.

User Flow for Chocolat App

Below, I have included images of screens from the app design to depict how the user will interact with the app. There are four different navigation options detailed in the navigation bar at the bottom of the app: home, search, friends, and profile. The user can browse recommendations and bestsellers in the home page, access their wishlist in the profile section, view ratings and reviews from their friends and browse chocolates by category. The search function enables the user to filter by product type, price range, chocolate type, cocoa percentage, and dietary needs. The view product screen displays the chocolate’s image alongside description, ingredients, storage instructions, product details and reviews.
